iceby and1trickerComment: Great attempt and a very interesting choice of subject. I would have loved to see more details in the shot though - some form of creative lighting might have helped, don't know how myself! |

Window to the soulby sarsonukComment: great attempt at getting close to the eye! The focus on this shot seems off, also while you can see the strands they are just a bit too noisy.. I don't like the white part in the front, isn't adding anything to the composition! |

Lamaby alannak24Comment: Would have been a nice macro/closeup if it was focused properly! |

Godzukiby pixelpigComment: don't think this is macro by any means and the motion blur isn't creating any artistic appeal! |

Microcosmby freakin_hilariousComment: looking at the reflection it looks like u didn't use the tripod.. for a shot that was primarily exposed by flash mounted on camera. Deeper DOF would have made the reflections crisper IMO! |

Deathby jpverkampComment: don't think the subject is something I like to see.. just not my taste! |

crystalsby friiskiwiComment: Great subject - but the lighting isn't doing anything for this picture! Usually isolating a branch and back-lighting it with other crystals forming a colorful background works better for such shots! |

Saturateby mBastinComment: Don't know if I understand the title for the picture. This shot would have worked great if it was sharp, but clearly the camera movement isn't helping much with the shot. |

Moss on Barkby WildpurpleComment: Would have been a nice macro if the lighting was better! Classic case of camera metering fooled by the situation, usually I have noticed using the low powered flash and underexposing the shot with a brightly lit situation like this helps get the deep green of the moss! Also playing with WB should help! |

My Alarmby leonedavisComment: This would have been a great macro, nice close crop and great backlighting.. expect that its definitely not in focus! DOF needs to be less, grass in the background is distracting! |
