Because it's so bright compared to the rest of your image,my eyes are consistently drawn to the house itself. This makes me see it as the focal point. Then I read your title and it doesn't quite work with the way you have your image composed. Also, be careful about darkening the corners too much, it too can be distracting.

I like the position of the people. For me, the background is a little too much. My eyes dart back & forth between the man's yellow coat to the bright UPS red sign in the upper right.

For me, your image is very busy and my eyes wander all over without any real focal point. Good concept though. Perhaps if it were cropped into a horizontal image and cutting out the botttom bird it would put the focus on the two birds at top.
