The SUV and the modern motorcycle really take away from the time period of the title. It is an interesting composition, but it just isn't depicting the time era of 1934 to me.

I'm not really sure how a night time shot of a ship depicts the time period of 2000. Also, the water line is not level.

I like the texture of the sand and the artifact. I think this would have had more impact if you had followed the Rule Of Thirds.

I really like the car and find it fits with the challenge. I really would have liked to have had you crop out the apartment buildings and the bright sky portion. It would have concentrated our attention to the car and not conflicted the era with the modern looking high rises.

time capsule for 2005

I think your trying to convey the modern teenager, with cell in hand is a defining part of 2005. I can accept this. The reason I say I think, is becuase I'm not 100% sure that the teenage girl is your main subject. The focus and contrast on her seems weak to me and I'm only assuming that she has a cell phone to her ear. Also, the bright spot on the top right is really distracting.
