for this one i think the hand is not in right place..
look how much space you have for the black ground..
placing the hand to break the negative space would add some interest..
still.. great scene..
good job with the focus.. not an easy shot to make sharp..ISO 1600 ha.. brave... looks like the IS worked just fine here

imagin taking the shot from the ground!!!

that means no shadows.. more background and maybe blue sky..
all the shots are taken from "above the kids eyes"...

classic case to use flsh in the middle of the day...

take a look on something interseting.. the kid on the right.. - look at the route above is head.. for me is was a major distraction.. i dont know if you did it on purpuse.. but its just "continue" his head.
going down and shooting from straight the level of the kids eyes would solve it...:)
