Down in the Darkby M.O.C.Comment: It's so hard to know how sharp to make trees like this. They oversharpen way too fast, although here they look too soft. The composition seems to lack a main focal point. I do like the choice of tones though. 5 |

After the Stormby cutlassdude70Comment: I seem to see some pixellation in the sky and maybe some ghosting artifact from HDR or possibly just bad cloning (upper right). The colors are nice and the composition isn't bad, although I'm not super impressed with the choice of foreground subject. 6 |

Here; take my icecream,,,by MiepComment: The odd angle works here to heighten the uneasy feeling about the homeless guy. If this wasn't posed, I think it's a very serendipitous capture. If it was, I think it's still fine. I also like the sepia. 8 |

Sitting Downby SherwinJamesComment: Cute. Like the warm monotone. Good lighting and control of the highlights on the sweater. 7 |

Watering Canby lovethelightComment: I like the understated nature of this portrait. Beautiful job of blending all the brown tones and adding a brown cast to the shot. Nice contemplative look and I like the display of her hands. My only nitpick is I'd rather not have water coming out of the can. Just seems to be a distraction where the viewer scratches their head and asks, why? 9 |

Fields of Viewby ImagineerComment: An interesting juxtaposition, but I'm not sure I dig the completely blown sky. Perhaps you were dealing with low overcast (hate that), but it lets the picture down. I do like the ponies. They add an almost surreal touch. 5 |
