Day 26by TDCollinsComment: I'm probably really dating myself here, but he reminds me of Charlie Weaver from the old Hollywood Squares show. Boy, you are really on a roll with the candid shots, David! Good for you, and keep 'em coming. I love those delicate shadows cast on his face from the straw hat. :) |

Day 25by TDCollinsComment: Really nice angle to this, David. Your composition is and processing are both quite flattering to her. |

peek - day 25by ErinMComment: Originally posted by pineapple: Camera toting parents are a PITA. They are always lurking around, never ever participate, and seem to be barely human. Kids need play and fun and things to do.... so I can understand why she makes you work for it ;-) (I have two daughters one 12 and one 5 and am speaking from experience). |
I have difficulty finding anything constructive or helpful in these remarks, but then I guess they weren't intended to be either. Please be assured that my children have ample time to play and plenty of fun things to do. I am fully involved in many activities in their lives, most of which go unrecorded by my camera. I view as a privilege the opportunities that I do have to document brief moments in their lives, and both of my children appreciate this completely. Their desire not to be photographed at any given time is always understood and honored. |

Doomedby Beautiful-JoeComment: I can't get over the story that you've posted along with this image. And in the middle of what must have been a terrifying experience , you had the creative foresight to document it. Wow. I would love to see this in black and white, with some attention paid to enhancing the mood through light and shadow. The eyes really tell the tale here. Hope that you're well now. :) |

Day 24 - Clowning Aroundby TDCollinsComment: You're on a roll with the candids, David. I tend to agree about removing the red object above her head, as it tends to pull the eye upwards, but other than that, you've got a really engaging shot here. |

What?by anotherdayComment: Nice job with the b&w conversion. This one has much more impact, I think. I don't really think that the neat image looks too overdone. Just looks like you have perfectly flawless skin. |
