| 11/11/2005 04:49:04 PM | Poppiesby sahrajolineComment: Nice, i have a couple of suggestions though... I find when taking photos of flowers or other vegitation, toy really have to search for the right angle! It's a problem most of us have when we start out! secondly, once you have found your angle, play with the focus... if auto doesn't give you the look you want, go manualy! its worth the effort! Now this is the part when you think about you DOF (depth of field.) You want your foreground to be in enough focus that it doesn't distract from the photo, but you want your main focus to be on the subject its self! I hope i helped a bit, it's a great start, but you just have to explore a bit more, size up your subject, and shoot! oh, and check your LCD before you leave to make sure you got the shot you wanted! |

| 11/10/2005 08:46:04 PM | Managing His Branch Accountby olddjComment: Great Photo! DOF is greatly demonstraited, to me, the chainlink in the background adds a bit of "frameing" if you will to the photo! the only thing i would change, and i know you would, is the stick in the niddel of the photo. other than that, it's a tad out of focus for my likeing, and a bit grainy, but it is still a wonderful photo! good job! | Photographer found comment helpful. |
