5.8 is a great average but I can't believe 83rd place, much too low for this wonderful image. I agree with pinapple, maybe a dark background might have helped the bokeh, but still you made a "point". Gave you a 10.

10 from me, loved the tire tracks leading my eye back but at the same time it looked like I was going to fall of the edge of the earth on the misty left side, poor column now truly in desolation.

Just cruisin' through my favs tonight, looked up the original "baby deer" and found definite enrichment in this image. I didn't enter or vote on this challenge (although have many to improve on :), I couldn't imagine voting and trying to look up originals (as only a few might be recognizable anyway) and give credit for images that were truly better. I love your work and this shot definitely shows that you thought about what would make it outstanding.

Wow, I really set out looking for the "circles of confusion" in the entries (the new term I learned when researching Bokeh) but this picture is just too good vote down because of my expectations. Excellent angle and finish work.

Nice, the background looks like an oil painting. The shell and colors are very intriguing but the rock underneath is a bit distracting, maybe too much light and the nuetral tones don't compliment the cool shell.
