I am enlightened by that title. I usually go for centered subjects but in this case, with no other visuals, I might have gone for the "rule of thirds" crop.

Fabulous backlighting, wonderful animal portrait but I am not seeing the "from the ground up" part. I'd like to see a shot with perhaps more leg and a perspective up his body.

Nice framing with the rock and rope lines. Definitely meets the challenge, only complaint is the rock coloring looks odd, maybe over saturated in the red and yellow hues ??

Good idea, an amusement park is full of opportunity. I like the golden yellow of the coaster, only complaint is the dark wall on the right, wish that could be cropped out.
