A very unusual capture, a newborn critter is my guess. Fabulous detail in the fur, interesting DOF, however the white fuzz on the right is a minor distraction, still a unique entry, congrats.

Fantastic duotone coloring, very natural, the sand, rock, and supports (for lack of a better word at the moment) are wonderful but I do feel like I am missing something at the top, still a very nice image.

Good composition, the face says it all. I would like to have seen a different duotone, the greenish tone (on my monitor) is not flattering to such a beautiful subject, maybe a blue to compliment the water theme, or stark B&W would have been more attractive.

The inclusion of the barbed wire is interesting, sets the image apart from just another landscape, however, I think the top line shouldn't have been cropped, if the full line was present it would have made your idea complete.
