Hi! Here̢۪s a comment from the Critique Club.
First Impression:
Nice shot. Drawn to the eyes, smile, speaker and then down the yellow tie.
Composition:
Good choice of colours. Very vibrant. May have over done the red balance.
Framing worked, helps with the expression.
Subject:
I agree with the comments, met the challenge well.
Technical:
Find the off colour shadow to the right distracting. A second light, or post processing may have helped. Moving subject away from the back drop would have reduced the harshness of the shadow behind the hand holding the radio. Focus is a little soft.
Summary:
Nice shot! His expression and your colour choices worked really well.

| You did it well, I especialy like the appeal of the photo, 80s like. Actually I know everything about the 80s from photos and this is exactly how the photos look like. Good luck |

| Good job! You actually used a boom box that looks like it came from the 80's, the hair style and clothing are perfect for the 80's...one of the best in the challenge. |

| HAHAHA! I love the expression! Just a touch of make up on that boy and this would be close to perfect for the time. The color of the jacket seems off for some reason, can't quite place my finger on it but this is a very good overall shot. The way the light suddenly goes so dark on the right doesn't quite work for me either, not quite natural for some reason with the face as lighted as it is. A 7 |

| God, my brother used to dress like that:) Sums up the fashion from the 80s. Bit disturbed that the model seems very happy to appear in public dressed like this lol. |
