Pepperby JamesKWComment: Great eyes! This image is a good example of the importance of monitor calibration ... which I have not done professionally ... yet. I think you've done a fine job photographing Pepper, for me however, the white fur on the neck seems a bit blown out but if I tip my monitor I can see the detail, unfortunately then the black facial fur loses detail. I wonder if other viewers notice this. Good luck with a nice portrait. 7 |

My Old Ladyby rmtm333Comment: Good composition choice, the eyes really drew me in at first glance, then enjoyed the pointy little orange chin. 7 |

Casey and RJby notesinstonesComment: Very neat looking dog, however his soft focus belongs on the teddy, the dog should lead the portrait. Otherwise, very nice coloring and light. 6 |

To the Tip of His Tailby LoreneComment: Love the tight focus on the nose and pink tongue. Not sure how this will do without the eyes in view though, and there's the matter of the white fuzz at the top ?? Good luck 6 |

Innocenceby drabhiComment: Great looking subject, too bad the picture doesn't do him/her justice, the coloring is off and the green line across the face is strange. The pose is awesome, this dog has potential ... I hope so does the photographer? 4 |

SMILE by ZeppKashComment: Classic. Nice lighting, maybe just a bit more on the eyes though, gorgeous coat coloring. 8 |

Jettby dogzComment: He's been eating snowballs ... waiting for you to throw the next one in fact. Good lookin' dog. I'd like to see a bit of the blue snow de-saturated, I think it would put more emphasis on the subject without changing his coloring. |

Seamus of Clan Ranaldby MacDonaldComment: Love the coloring and facial marking, you captured a great look, the paws seem a little unatural though, oversoftened maybe and a little bluish in hue. 6 |

Portrait of Marley in swirlsby RobSkogComment: Fun, fun, fun. Love the composition heavy to one side and the feline is giving you a great pose. For me, the colors in the backdrop are not that appealing - only complaint in an otherwise very creative entry. 7 |
