Part Of A Collection That Any Toy Collector Would Be ENVIOUS To Ownby photoladiComment: It's just a shelf of toys in my eyes. It means a lot to you and probably other toy collectors out there, but this subject is completely dull to me (and probably most others), and you've done nothing creative with it to make it interesting to me or somehow show it's greater value. It needs some more visual appeal or some deeper meaning to it. 2 wingy |

Greedby MarkRobComment: I like the idea, and I like the composition. The title is perfect as well. I hope people aren't marking you down because they don't get it. Good shot overall. 9 wingy |

Taking it in or taking it out???by prkembyComment: I'm not one to complain about meeting the challenge, but I really don't see how this could represent or comment on the seven deadly sins. It's impressive that you captured this wonderful moment in time, but this is definately stretching the limits of the challenge.. in addition the image doesn't really seem particularly effective either. Although the framing is generally good the slight motion blur seems to detract from the shot. 2 wingy |

Just Lookingby titotapadoComment: uninteresting subject, cluttered photo.. it needs better lighting on the main subject. 2 wingy |

Father, Why Have You Forsaken Me?by paganiniComment: I think the idea behind this was very interesting.. but you were expecting your viewer to make too many connections with too little for them to work with. It would be difficult to realize that the apple is meant to imply that christ also commited a deadly sin when it is so difficult to even tell if the thing blocking the hand is indeed an apple. I didn't get through them all this week (since I fully commented on every one I voted on), but I think I would have given this a 5 or so. Technically the photo is good, but doesn't specifically stand out to me either. It is notable that I appreciate your attepts at creativity here. Creative attempts by nature are hit and miss... even if I were to give this a 4 and give a great shot of a sunset a 6, I'd much prefer to have more shots in the creative vein than the generic stuff that is broadly appealing. When you're playing hit and miss, and especially with gutsy statements like this, keep shooting and you'll inevitably get better at hitting. |

It's all in your mind.by aelithComment: whatever sin you had in mind for this to represent isn't shown clearly enough. Composition is so-so. Lighting seems like it needs some work. 3 wingy |

The Seventh at Lastby NocturnoComment: so-so idea, but the shot just doesn't interest me at all. The lighting needs improvement, the hands in the shot seem to just be clutter, and the mouth doesn't illicit any reaction from me at all. The whole thing comes across as ineffective. 2 wingy |
