Broken & discarded foot-powered sewing machineby GaiaComment: It might have been more effective to underexpose slightly to bring out the saturation in the backgrounds the main subject could be profiled without loss ... I think that would have made the picture much more effective. |

traditional bakerby mtawamiComment: Not sure how that is obsolete. There is too much dead space in the corners detracts from the main subject. |

Old Lock Workingsby mexicoComment: too much material that distracts from the main subject I would crop out a bunch of stuff and I think this would be a much more effective photo. |

Upside Down by arnitComment: Nice shot ... good color .. balanced exposure ... I would have liked it to be a little more bright. |

Dead Pointe Shoesby pidgeComment: I like the dramatic lighting ... I think there is too much black empty space but, I don't find the rule of thirds always the most appealing and in this case I think the negative space is a negative. |

1943 Army Steam Locomotiveby sabphotoComment: Nice use of diffusion and good choice for sepia. It would be better if you could clone or get rid of the modern cars that show up in the photo on the right side and peeking thru the engine. If you had moved more to the left you could have cut them out of the shot. |

Out to Pastureby RolandBComment: Good rich texture on the wagon. The flare in the lower middle isn't appealing. I would consider cropping everything but, the wagon even if it meant you didn't get the entire wagon in the shot I think it would be much more dramatic that way. |
