Obstaclesby riotspyneComment: I like the originality of the foreground! And the expression works well with it! The face does seem a bit lost lighting wise? Maybe a side lighting might have increased the contrast? well done |

winkby whiteroomComment: I really like the expression and the cropping of the photo. Nice out of focus background and interesting foreground with the apple. It seems to tell a bit of a story perhaps? IMHO, the frame is a bit too wide. it distracts from the photo itself and I find myself lost in the white... But great capture of an expression! Well done |

Autumn by steinarComment: What amazing lighting you captured (or created?) The focus on the eyes is perfect and the skin tone very natural. I'm not sure if I like the coat details but that's MHO... Great job |

Dainty Gem by SonifoComment: What a beautifully composed photo. I love the muted light and how it seems to fall mostly on her. Her bright clothes contrast so well with the 'sad' background as does her expression. Perhaps just cropping a bit more on the right side to make her feel even more offsided? Very well done! |

Almost there!by siggiComment: Very creative photo idea! Love the crop, the neutral background and the focus on the eyes! The photo seems a bit over sharpened? Perhaps just sharpening the eyes might have worked better? Very well done. I hope it scores high! |

Hey, Where'd Everybody Go?by TuckersmomComment: The photo is nicely exposed and I do like the crop. It does fit the title very well as does its expression :) But IMHO, the eyes (the focal point of the photo) are a bit too much in the far corner and not enough in the rule of third cross section... Well done: This is an original dog photo!! |

Sail On Sailorby TuckersmomComment: Looks like a postcard! I really like the color layers, especially since they are all summer ones (yellow, green, blue). I like the contrasts, the clouds, and the perspective. If I had to think of something to change IMHO, I might crop out the right side since it's a bit busy and doesn't ad too much to the beautiful scene. It might also make the left side boats appear to be leaving for an ocean trip as opposed to a harbor stint? Very nice photo! |

Hellooooooo!!by orussellComment: What a great capture. I love the expression and the composition! They are both perfect! The eyes on the banana do take a bit away from the candid shot (IMHO, I would try cloning them out?) I would also see if desaturating or darkening the background colors (the oranges) might increase the focus on the adorable face! A picture to cherish!

Nightlightby RulerZigzagComment: Just a tad more cropping and a bit of straightening... I like the captured light beam and the composition. Maybe increasing the contrast to better see the stars with a darker sky? Knowing my bad tendencies, I would try to dodge and burn the sky just a tad to add highlight to the clouds and the beam of light. well done! |

Life among the dead.by RulerZigzagComment: Nice capture and good composition. I wonder how it would look with a whiter sky to increase the contrast with the trees? Maybe a bit of dodge and burning to add some light on the headstones and darken the back bushes? But good idea for a photo and well executed! |
