The Four Elementsby dacrazyrnComment: Sorry, but I can't say nothing more than "great". IMHO there ist nothing wrong in this shot at all. My favourite so far. Usually I dont vote highest scores for sunset shots, but this one is so much more. Great composition and spirit, with a perfect connection betwen the dramatic sky and earth. Good luck for the challenge! - 10 |

Burning Bush by crabappl3Comment: One of the better sunset shots. Well done in exposure and composition. Mostly I like the tree in the back light of the downgoing sun. Must have been a very dramatic moment. I can feel it by looking at this shot. By the way: An interesting title too :-) |

Annual Weather Recorderby CrumblesComment: IMHO a very creative interpretation of the weather challenge and a well done shot with an interesting texture too. Only the little rest of the tree in the upper right corner is IMHO disturbing a little bit. But that's only marginal. Good luck for the challenge! |

cloud opening by deceptiveComment: The sky looks higly dramatic - nice weather shot. But when I look at the bottom (water surface?) I think, that you overdid the postprocessing al little bit. It looks oversharpened and the contrasts and/or saturation is IMHO to high. Nevertheless a nice shot, good luck for the challenge! |

Lost On A Closed Trackby ndsComment: I never expected such a high score for this shot and I think, this one doesn't deserve it. But nevertheless thank you very much for your highly interesting comments. A lot of them are completely oppositional. Some of you like the colored umbrella, others would like the shot better without it. My first choice for this challenge was this shot: //www.200bar.de/nds/show_pic.php?id=111 . Unfortunately I didn't achieve the desired effect without without spot editing. So I had to submit this IMO a little poor photo... |

Katherine's bridgeby robsterComment: O.K., you are creative and tried for a different and unique shot, but I don't like the result. Don't get my wrong: IMHO there is nothing to say at all against nudity, I just don't like this one I see here. Mostly I dislike the posture of the model, the position looks like (...don't know the english words for my thoughts...). The direct lighting from above ist to strong and causes partial overexposion. Additionally I'm not sure about your decision to add this blur and grainy effect. But that's yust me ;-) |
