Entomology / Theriogenologyby scotthadlComment: Great limited DOF to isolate the lady bugs and the background. However, the closer petals, or whatever they are, are a bit distracting. The lighting is great, and the color/saturation is perfect. |

Juggling Ideasby DigiFotoBuddyComment: This is a nice idea, but the lights look like they were poorly printed, and your subject is still a bit too dark. It just needs more light in front, set up to get the low key effect. |

Zoologyby bobgaitherComment: Nice image. I like shots that look like the lens is half way under water. I think it is more effective when you can see sky or something above the water too though. The colors seem a bit muted, like a curves or levels adjustment was needed. Detail and sharpness are good. |

The Science of Flightby jwillie44Comment: I'm sure this was very interesting, seeing the whole flight simulator thing. The image as a contest entry, however, is not up to par. It gives off more of a snapshot feel, than a contest entry. |

Entomology for Beginners "BEE"by ccabmanComment: The composition in this is nice, as well as the limited DOF. The entire image lacks the detail that you would expect from a macro shot. It almost looks as if it was neat imaged quite a bit. |
