i think you're going to get a polarized reaction to this image. i don't like it, it's too yellow for me and the family looks like they were superimposed on the background. speaking of the background, the colors on the rocks are overpowering. sorry, i just don't feel it. re: the family, beautiful capture of the child...in fact, i think you should have cropped out everything but the child and the parents' hands.

this is tough, with the subjects being in the light and so much in shadow. the people are quite bright compared to the rest of the image. i like the reflection.

i think i would have preferred more of the street scene to be cropped out, a closer crop in general. also, if it were taken from a lower perspective, i think i would have connected more with the subject, instead of feeling like i'm just standing by watching, does that make sense?

wow, i thought this would do so much better. i'm new to DPC and am quite surprised at some of the comments you got about this being too sexual in nature. 1: this didn't really seem like a "sexy" shot to me, maybe b/c i'm not a man? 2: the water dripping off her never seemed to be urine, girls don't pee out of their bums. 3: i thought the tags added to the candid feel. sorry, it's a great shot and the subject should keep it to remind her of her youth!

try to avoid putting your subject in the middle of the image, it gives it a snapshot feeling. subject is a bit dark and focus feels soft.

interesting perspective (in a good way), nice blue in the sky. too bad for those grey clouds near his head and i wish his foot were either completely in the image or out of it, i think i'd prefer the latter.

riders are too dark IMO, the composition is a bit boring, seems to have been taken from just standing on the sidelines with a snapshot feel to it.
