This shot is nice. However, I'm wondering if you are using a Polarizer. I have one on my D70 lenses all the time and it really makes a difference.

....edit...I'm not sure if there is a polarizer for your canon...if not...try to shoot thru a pair of Polarized sunglasses for a test....see if you can see a difference....really !

Nice title and setup. I don't like the shadows or the fact that I can see the edges of your floor and background.

To improve...maybe try hanging with fishing wire and zoom in order to blur out background...
