Snow on the Roofby hahn23Comment: Yes...it seems to me that this shot would look better later or early in the day... say perhaps...SUNRISE or SUNSET...maybe a RAM will walk by at that time of the day.

Surface Tensionby fracmanComment: Has nothing to do with chemistry???? What the hell is this guy talking about? Great photo and meets challenge of Chemistry.
Originally posted by hahn23: Congrats on your excellent photo! It's very good. Has nothing to do with chemistry, but you rec'd a pass from the voters. I'm mad because the voters punished me for my image, which contains a lot of real world chemistry. Voters are really stupid. (not your fault!) This would be a good physics image. Just to be clear, I really like your image and am happy it scored so well. Just mad about the voters, in general. |

Jungle Catby Len ScapComment: So Hahn23 was very wrong. Your shot was taken "live" and you survived!!!!
I hope those fools didn't score you low b/c of their ideas about "wild".
Great shot.
Originally posted by Len Scap: I guess this placed 32nd because of the environment?? I had some comments about the jungle. I guess people don't know that these guys Do live in the jungle. This is definitely taken in this cats natural environment about 400yds inland from the Carribean coast.Oh well..I really like this shot and its my highest score yet, Thanks for all your great Comments |

Jungle Catby Len ScapComment: Hahn23 must have commented on 20 shots with the same quote below.
If no one would have survived this encounter in the wild then how and where the hell does all the other "big cat" shots come from that I see all over the freaking internet, books, TV etc...etc....
Originally posted by hahn23: Wow, beautiful mountain lion, but not in natural environment. You wouldn't have survived this encounter in the wild. And, probably never could be a "jungle cat". | Message edited by author 2007-01-30 17:05:24. |
