color blindby charliebakerComment: I am one of those red/green colorblind photographers you are speaking of, so I found this pretty comical. I found out I was colorblind as a child when I thought the grass was red :) Anyways, on a side note, the military often look for colorblind folk to be snipers because we have the ability to pick out camouflage due to the lack of blended colours that we see. I thought that was interesting. |

Was the 'honest mistake' entering the wrong date for when the photo was taken, or was it later trying to imply (in your comments) that the exif data was wrong?
It's a good thing this wasn't taken on the day you originally claimed (April 3). It probably wouldn't have turned out as well because it was cloudy/overcast in Calgary that day.
Anyway, it's a great photo regardless of the DQ |
1) I didn't see how it could have been on the wrong date because I was sure when editing I took it on the day the challenge started so I thought EXIF.
2) A few minutes later I happened across my calendar, realized my mistake was my own fault, not the cameras, reported it here afterwards
3) I don't need any more comments on this photo |

...if we don't follow those simple rules about "the time frame" of the photo, then we could all just go into our portfolio and grab the best image to meet the current challenge.
I'd rather have everyone race to get the best shot during the week!

Big Airby nephotoComment: HAHAHA, you would think after seeing this happen a million times I would have known to make sure the exif data in my camera was correct, but I guess those are the breaks, ah well, shit happens :) |

CalliopeKel lines up the shot straight, and fires it straight into nephoto's junk... Ouch :) |

Only thing that would make this better is a powerful fill flash and an underexposed sky, but its still pretty solid, congrats man. |
The lens could be the Peleng as well.
Great photo, congrats on the ribbon! |
Peleng is so much wider. Unless he did some serious cropping, Id say its safe to assume its a peleng |
No cropping was done to the photo, zenitar sounds about right. I'll find out for sure and post it. |

Winter Skinby pikabooComment: good idea, the image quality itself comes off a little flat though. |
