Thanks! I thought it was pretty good. I did quite a few shots of the laser, it was hard to figure out what was working and what wasn't...I had to pick up the camera to view the screen and then figure out where to place it back down. I actually ran out of time on this or I would have shot a few more. The lower right corner of the pattern was cut off...I would have much preferred a more symmetrical crop that included all of the red light.

The blown out parts in the center are where the laser pointed directly into the lens...

I do not understand why this scored so low. I gave it a 7 during voting. It could have handled a bit more DOF (it looks like a red piece of fabric and more DOF could have showed us more of the rose), but that makes the difference between a 7 and an 8, it doesn't make it a 4.85.
