Viva La Nauticaby idnicComment: Good choice to include the lady in your photo. Her body language speaks volumes about the pride and arrogance that normally accompany wealth. - 8. |

just a little place for the booksby JPRComment: Great details on parts of the ceiling; love the rich red colors & the angle of the shot; great title as well.
A flash would have illuminated the statue in the foreground & made it more a part of the photo instead of standing out from it, & I wish the skylights weren't blown out (I'm sure you're going to hear a lot of that...), but this is still a creative & well executed take on the challenge. - 7. |

Celloby krystofaComment: The angle & the lighting highligh the flaws on the surface of this cello, which is a pity. Creative composition, though, & nice lining up of the strings with the top frame of the photo. |

Anatomic toolsby atlibjComment: Great photo, but a challenging title. What are the anatomic tools? the hands? the breasts? the belly? all of them together?
And tools for what? If they're for looking after the baby those three sets of tools have one purpose, if they're for her lover it's a whole different purpose...
Maybe I'm making too big a deal of this (& maybe I'm just being thick!), but I seem to be hung up on the tools thing...
(Great photo though - did I mention that before? - texture, detail, lighting. Superb job!) |

Implementsby kposeyComment: A number of things going on in this photo that compete with it's purpose. Although my eyes see the "tools of the trade" first, they spend only a split-second there & then are drawn straight to the number 2620 (dead center of the photo). While my mind is wondering what the number's significance might be, my eyes are then drawn to the three unruly trees in the background & I'm wondering what they have to do with the challenge...
However, I think the position from which the photo was taken is great. Absolutely love the machinery that frames the right side of the shot. Great idea to include that! |
