Seagullby OdieComment: Great ... Great look on the bird and great background. the head is just a tad blown out it appears but overall that doesn't really hurt it. 8 |

Haikuby charmayneComment: great subject... some of the simplest bokeh yet extremely affective. Title is appropriate and clever also. |

well...by charliebakerComment: congratulations, this is the strangest image I've seen here I think. It is minimalistic and a bit crazy ... not 100% sure whether it meets the challenge, but congrats on having the cahones. |

Triptychby barbaraanneComment: Great idea ... I love the eroding foreground elements. With just a few adjustments this could be the winner IMO. I think that slant or distortion hurt this a bit ... maybe a more strongly angled image would distract from the lens distortion or whatever is going on. You could also maybe try moving either up or down with the camera to have more dramatic background perspective or something to focus the eye to. Another possiblity would be to have a more zoomed/cropped deal where the top and bottome are cropped out. Also: a polarizing filter might hold back some of the highlight in the background allowing for more interesting contrast. i left all this because i like the image and feel this idea has great potential. 7 |

Web Frameby 2mccsComment: wow that's nifty and scary. making this a face -- obviously there could be more detail and DOF, but still very nice. 8 |

hookedby BeeGeeComment: Now here's something interesting! i would prefer a tad more sharpness but the subject and distant background as well as the coincidentally touching objects make this special. .... that is the moon right?? |
