Those DI's are amazingly devoted to their jobs all the way through graduation, never stopping once at letting their guard down in front of their recruits or their parents. They spend 3 months of grueling devotion to transforming these guys into Marines. Lack of sleep, and keeping up the same physical pace as those they are training.

I bet they hate having all those nasty civilians in their clean bunk house. :)

Obviously an old photo, but well taken and the quality is really good.
Those were the good ole days. When technology was just getting going and people actually had time to visit each other and have nice meals together.

Oh yeah, I remember this day. My son ran right past me and I barely recognized him he had lost so much weight. This day is all about them and it shows.

edit* This scene isn't that impressive to the average onlooker, but you know as well as I that the first glimpse of your boy after 3 long months of grueling training that it is indeed special.

I got chill bumps after looking at this remembering my sons motivational run.
