This is basically a wonderful photograph except I find her arm to be very distracting. It looks like it is in a very unnatural position. The boys hand is distracting also, but not nearly as much aas her arm. Some cropping might have helped, but a better position would have been the best thing. The expression on her face and the lights in her eyes are absolutely wonderful and I love the soft lighting.

Very cute baby. Light casting not so good shadow onto baby's face ffrom hand. Background is pretty but distracting especially since the bear is upside down, it makes you look at it more than you want to. Overall photo seems a bit grainy. Possibly check ISO setting.

Great expression and catchlights in the eyes. Pose is good but hand is distracting. I believe cropping is allowed in this challenge. It would have been better to crop some.

I like this dramatic lighting. I think there is too much darkness at the top, possibly needed some cropping. Love the way you caught the light in your subjects eye. Well done.

Gosh I wish people would do subtitles, it would go a long way toward helping someone understand a photo, but in this case the photo is speaking for itself. It's very well done, straight on shot works very well in this case, some good catchlight in the one eye that looks like he is able to focus. DOF is right on. Nose ring would be distracting if i didn't know what it was. Great exposure. Overall 10. Even without knowing what the title says.

Good capture. Lighting was done well, but must have been difficult to get exposure right. The tilt bothers me some but basically done well.

Very appealing photo., possibly because it is so thoughtful or the guy is goodlooking. I think I would have liked it better without the curtains, they aren't adding anything of value and neither is the light on the left. Appears slightly underexposed on my monitor.

Good composition, but for this challenge, I think the work of art is overpowering the "portrait" subject. Lighting and exposure are great.

The shadow over her eyes is taking some of the appeal away, catch lights in the eyes would give it a spark. Beautiful girl, great expression.
