I went back and looked at my settings and somehow I had darkened it by .5 stops in the raw editor. I don't know why I did that, and based on the comments that contributed to the low score. Because I had everything set up for something entirely different, the focus issues and the darkness were due to the 4 watt light and long exposure time. I deleted some of the original idea shots, which led me to this:

Doesn't fit the challenge. The shaodow on the moon could be interpreted as a duck shape, but it's really hard to tell.
