I find this to be an interesting shot - great perspective. The light coming through is a bit harsh and would have been improved by adjusting your exposure factors. A real shame as it looks like there would have been a lot more detail. The composition is okay, although for shots like this a little bit of an angle that elongates is my preference - but not necessarily what you were after. I do think the off-centering was a good choice. Good leading lines here. Keep up the cfreative thinking and good luck with your future entries.

B/W was an excellent choice for this image. Focus was real good, keeping the pattern of the nets crisp and clear. The lighting was not too harsh or too light - good job. The composition is also very well executed. You've got a good eye matey.

Oops!! Busted!by MajankaComment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
Good emotive shot kept simple. The expression says "oops" or "busted" as the title suggests, leaving you to wonder what she has been caught at. The composition is perfect - great use of negative space. Techincal factors all seem well done - exposure, balance, etc. The framing color is the only negative I find here. Perhaps if you had matched the color of her hair or eyes it would work better. Your lighting was very well done. Good shot.

The texture and pattern present in the leaves is nice, but the lighting is too harsh. As for the composition, I would have liked to see more angle to this instead of so straight down. Another idea would have been to use a shallow DOF, focusing on just one of the larger leaves. Just seems a little too busy to me. The colors are nice and vibrant where there is not glare, and very natural looking.

What a stunning capture! I love the clarity of the birds flying over head, especially with just the one showing it's colors. Great focus! Colors are also very sharp - vivid. Truly impressive. Composesd perfectly also, almost as if you had placed the birds in the sky yourself. Great shooting!
As for meeting the challenge, it was a bit of a stretch. I am guessing by the title your pattern was the pink pattern of the one bird?

Hey U! My Pillion seat got hurt!by doctabrezComment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
The composition here is lacking in my mind. Perhaps if you shot this from another angle, and it was not so dead center that would be better.
I would also like to have seen a shallower DOF to blur out the busy background. Color balance and exposure seem okay.

Definitely a creative idea. Technically it appears the exposure and color balance are right on. The colors go well together. Good composition also.
Not much else to say really - a well executed shot.

"Ewww Grandpa! That is not the Holiday Potpourri!"by RikkiComment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
Creativity is a wonderful thing, and this surely is creative. The composition is pretty good, although I think if there were less of Gramps behind it would be better as the focus would be stronger on the young girl. Your colors are nice and vibrant, and exposure levels seem perfect. The items in the background (behind the girl) are a little distrating. A shallower DOF might help here.
