Focus is a bit soft, but image is composed well. Your model would look more natural if reclining back in chair or on a couch instead of standing. I cant imagine he would stand there too long surfing.

the gray tones here look really muted - might try adjusting them some to make this pretty face pop more. The hair has some ovedr exposed highights, so not sure how much tweaking you can do.

I always like seeing photos of another artists in action. I would have liked a different angle better on this one though....where perhaps some of his painting is viewable. I also would crop tighter to get rid of the white umbrella as it distract from this beautiful scene. I love the water color effect you applied to the image.
