Obsolete Transportation can be a Real Dragby netdudeComment: I love this image. It's a 10 in my book. When I first saw the challenge I was hoping someone would find a horse drawn carriage/cart/wagon. This woman has a great expressionon her face, what a character. Beautiful framing against the wooden fences and forest beyond. The only thing that is slightly distracting for me is the bright red on the horse. I wonder what it would have looked like to desaturate the red a little. |

They're So Old They Could Be Museum Piecesby flip89Comment: These are such great machines, so full of character that it would be great if you could have just used one and given us a closer glimpse of it. I especially like the green one to the left. Nice representation of "obsolete". |

Travelling in Steelby e301Comment: Love the perspective. Good choice to use black and white. Perfect situation where metal is everywhere. I may have preferred this photo without people as it would draw more attention to the composition and form. |

Mercuryby sersalComment: Love the title, great pun. Beautiful form and vantage point. For me the mottled color of the metal is somewhat distracting, maybe black and white would have erased some of that. 10. |

Sorcerer by labudsComment: Awesome image. I didn't have a chance to comment during the challenge. My sister is a fire dancer, so I'm curious where you took the shot and who the model is. Wonderful capture of the provocativeness of this dance. You've managed to make it almost more appealing frozen in time than it is live. |

Road Metalby lytaComment: Stunning. I was hoping someone would do a close up of a motorcycle (I'm guessing that's what this is). Very smart to use black and white, andn the combination of textures and form makes a great entry. |

submergedby chris_23Comment: What happened here? This is pretty funny. It would be nice to bring out the saturation so the hydrant has more contrast with it's surroundings. Also I might have opted for a closer shot of the subject. |

1910 Western Pacific Caboose Handbreakby fulgentComment: Beautiful metal object. Maybe changing th depth of field to blur more of the background would have highlighted th texture and form of the wheel. Also it would be a litle nicer to have the full wheel , too bad it's cropped at top. |

Shining armour...by hvellurComment: Love the irony. The title complements the disgruntled looking "knight" perfectly. It would have worked better for this challenge if his armor was more obviously metal, unfortunately the brown color reminds me of leather. Maybe trying black and white would have created a more metallic impressions. Very creative image, love it. |
