It's odd, but I think being able to make out some of the details on the stairs and the slide hurt this photo slightly. At about the level of the bottom of the "gazebo" upwards this image is beautiful. However, I think making the lower half of the image darker (I guess, the entire image darker due to the Basic Editing Rules) would have helped. I still like this picture though. ;)

This image is a bit plain to me; nothing stands out. Perhaps taking a shot of a single piece of cake among the remains of the entire cake and entitling it "Still one piece left" or something to that effect would have been a bit more interesting.

Although I do understand what you're trying to say, I feel that everything is too blurry in this photo and the people/person are well on their way to their destination. Because of this, I think it's mistitled - it should be "Way too late" as opposed to "Just missed it".

I like the concept, however the crack in the egg is too artificial for me and I get hung up on it everytime I look at this photo. Also, I think the background could be a bit brighter without sacrificing contrast between it and the egg.

This is a difficult one to pull off as I feel there could've been a more effective way of conveying the same idea without the writing. I do appreciate the sense of loss from "John", however.
