I really like the focus of this photo. I think it might have looked better on a darker background, though? To bring out the copper tone and emphasize the single grain of salt.

Sand Crab

Though it is evident that this is a perished sandcrab due to it being upside down, and I am not one for photos of dead animals, I do love the color scheme and focus on the sand. It is a wonderful picture, and don't fear, I shall not mark off for my stated dislike. :-)

I like the lighting on the seeds- (i am guessing they are seeds?)- but I feel like it would have been a wonderful picture even without the circle light. Perhaps even, maybe, with another subject place amongst them to the side?? Beautiful lighting though!

This is a beautiful picture, though I wish there were less noise toward the top. I do love hieroglyphics, though! Did you actually paint these onto the sand paper or did you find this somewhere? Lovely picture!

Miss Havisham

I am compelled to vote high on this picture, not only for the sheer fact that I loved Great Expectations and the character Miss Havisham, but also because it is a wonderful picture! It captures the madness that was her character, and I love the way the eyes seem to hollow out because of her depression and emptiness (whether it was done intentionally or not). Well done!
