Well, I had to choose one rule to break and the original was quite dark so I chose to brighten the shadows in order to bring out the texture of the main subject :) |

It's a (very) short story :) But I understand your point completly, but I felt that in this case his genuine expression was quite enough to tell a story of joy. |
