This is a great subject that (of course) fits the challenge.

The lighting is great and the dropplets just add that extra interest for the eye. However, I'm not 100% sold on the composition - there are also one or two blown highlights on the top of the pepper.

Nice shot, shame about the composition (maybe go back and re-crop?) (5)

Nice, using the old fruit helps to tell a story. In my mind this represent to old freinds leaning on eachother in the twilight of their days.

Compositional strong - although there is some noise and it's not as sharp as it could be.

Nice overall tones and I love the reflection (6)

One of many variations on an overdone theme for this challenge (sorry, that sounds mean!)

Unfortunatly, this isn't the best one either. The light seems a little harsh in places and very flat as you move to the edges of the frame. There also seems to be a lot of noise in the apple.

Good attempt all the same (4) (I would give 4.5 if I could)

You definately achieve what I think you set out to do. I like the shafts of light that fall onto the fruit.

I think that a different colour material (deep, dark red) would have worked better for placing the basket on - I reckon it would add more devine (or even Roman?) feel to it.

Also, there is a quite a lot of noise in the background. A change to the foreground colour would have allowed you to push the black background deep to the black.

If this fly is real (and I'll assume it is), then great capture - and in fact I can let it go that I think it's not quite sharp enough.

If the fly is fake, and this is composed, more care should have been taken to get the right area for maximum sharpeness.

The colours are slightly too muted for my taste, but that's ok, as the green on the fly pops out nicely.

Nice monochrome however you do loose quite a bit of detail in the shadow. If this in intentional - I think it works generally for low-key, but not so much here - if it's my monitor, sorry!

Compositiion and lighting are strong and the touch of the droplets set it off.

I love this shot and a great approach to the challenge. Great colour in the orange, woody, and the background.

The light from the right is a little too harsh, but overall a stiking images. Expect this one to finish highly.

Nice studio (I assume) shot there. Light and exposure is well controlled, although I think you maybe should've have spent some Photoshop time on the shoulder of the bottle.

The composition on this is great and it's a classic shot. I just feel that the lighting is a little flat. The colours don't leap off the screen and punch me in the face.
