Why stop half way? by B_selectedComment: What are great image.
I would have maybe tried to not have the rim of the glass cut the lemon, but I love the lighting. |

Good ligthing and composition |
It may be a 'literal representation of an existing art', but how is that Does Not Meet Challenge? This cleary meets the challenge as it depicts LOVE.
The literal representation of an existing art rule was abandoned in the latest rule set, so it's not even grounds for DQ.

Don't you just hate it when that happensby hanaeComment: I recognise this reprobate! This shot is funny as well as a different take on an otherwise stale challenge.
The posing is great, and I like the fact that the interaction is between these two only - I.E: not with the photographer. This is also really well lit.
I have a question. If your son(?) is holding that beast, what was this shot taken with? (please say it's the Barbie!) |

Frost = Fiscal Failureby lynnesiteComment: This is great. I love the way the oragne colour leaps off the screen and punches you in the face!
A nice use of a shallow DoF, and the composition is nice to.
Pin sharp! Good luck (7) |
