The Headless Horsemanby rayg544Comment: Looks like a great statue, but isn't lit well enough. Took me a while to figure out exactly what it is that I'm looking at. |

Grazingby GolferDDSComment: Great use of black and white. Very good composition, both with regard to aligning the horse nicely in the rule of thirds grid, and also with regard to having just the right amount of interesting things in the background: not too much to pull the focus away from the horse, but not too little as to make the entire picture boring. |

The Lost Jewelby LongComment: Love the texture of the background, and the central point of focus seems to be perfectly aligned in the rule of thirds grid. However, it's hard for me to tell what the item is. The title indicates that it's a jewel, but is it a jewel in some sort of setting? A ring? A bit better lighting on the item would have helped me. |

Sea Mistby PeterCComment: Beautiful color contrast, and wonderful sharpness on the sailboat. The sharpness is especially nice when placed against the smooth fog. |

Flightby myceliumComment: Beautiful photo, but I can't figure out why it's called "flight". |

the sailboatby visaksenComment: Beautiful shot, especially with how you used the lighting to make the trees and bench dark and the sailboat lit. Only thing I would have tried differently is to take the shot without the bench as the bench seems to be competing with the sailboat to be the strong point in the image. |

Tiny Kingdomby RonBeamComment: Beautiful photo. I love the composition (bird seems to be perfectly aligned in the rule of thirds grid) and the lighting where the leaves aren't lit at all and the bird is barely lit. Only thing I would have tried to do is create just a little bit more separation between the bird and moon, but I bet this photo was pretty hard to get as it is. |

The key to life is to find the key to life of the key, o'key?by bergwaltersComment: Cool concept. I would have placed the key a little higher in the image to meet the rule of thirds. I also would have placed something else at the top of the image (maybe a set of keys, a set of keyrings, a pile of keyrings, etc.) to try to give the image a little more concrete meaning. The key by itself is too abstract for me. |
