Serve God and Milkby drydocComment: I think this meets the challenge dead on. The cows in the foreground, the drying laundry, the house, the flag, and the silos(?). But the sky is too bright. Did you try taking the picture when the sun was lower in the sky? It may have brought the blue out more. |

Country Life - c. 1820by jerrftComment: I like this photo. The sepia works well. I think the time period mentioned in the title is off by some two centuries but the photo is nice and that detail doesn't effect my vote. |

Wedding Coordinatorby TarbiniComment: I like the lighting. The girl in the middle looks like she is being attacked by both the wedding coordinator and bride to be. Is this what really happens at weddings? I really don't know, I heard they can be stressful:) Nice photo and good luck in the challenge. |

Fireman At workby draney4Comment: Very dramatic photo. I think seeing more of the fire that he's fighting would make it more dramtic. Still a good effort at capturing someone at work. Good work and luck in the challenge. |

Hand on my heartby KaveyComment: Something about this photo reminds me of the photos Alfred Stieglitz took of Georgia O'Keefe. I like the grain soft look. Good work and good luck in the challenge. |

Not Another Push Pin Entry!!!....Argh!!by orussellComment: Greetings from the Critique Club.
Nice idea and composition. I think a little extra lighting this would have made this one better. It may have been easier to focus the camera with more light as well, whether you use auto or manual. Aside from those things I think one thing that may have been overlooked is the over obundance of yellow in the picture. I would have tried to balance it out more. Either way with a little extra lighting and sharper focus I think this one would have done much better. Keep up the good work and lots of luck in future challenges. |

Cloud break over the Grand Pierby floydComment: Greetings from the Critique Club.
There's not much to say about this photo. That is a good thing. I like it a lot. I think sunlight breaking through clouds is one of my favorite things to view and photograph. I think you captured this one splendidly. Good work and good luck in future challenges. |

Rollin in the Money!!by YomiComment: Greetings from the Critique Club.
I think this may be my first one in three weeks so I may be a little rusty. First off I really like the idea. You got in close as well. I think the two things I would do to improve this photo are lighting and subject matter. I guess that is what you call the last one. I will start with it. I think Bart alone without the Alien game piece behind him would be better and less distractive. Ok, the lighting is too yellow for me and a tad dark. I do like that it is soft though. I know sometimes it is difficult getting that happy medium of not too bright not too dark. If anything I would have tried to change the color levels of the light. Well that is really all I have. I hope that it helped you a little. Good work and good luck in future challenges. |
