Silhouetteby mannenComment: Meets challenge well and not a bad silhouette. The clouds seem a bit pixilated, perhaps oversharpening? |

Grinstone Bridgeby dustin03Comment: I think the thing that hurts this shot is the lighting. I like the DOF and I like the idea, but the colors and lighting are dull and the image in the foreground isn't sharp enough. Meets challenge superbly though. |

...cutting it right...by miss parkerComment: I like the title and the idea. The lighting has a bit of an orangish tungsten feel to it. With different lighting and a little sharper focus all around I'd have scored this a bit higher. |

Tuning Pegsby dr rickComment: I love the different hues of gold, the lighting, the sharpness, etc. Great photo. While I wouldn't say it doesn't meet the challenge this shot does not strike me as having strength in the right angles themselves. In any shot where I have to think "Are there right angles" I think the submission fell a bit short of really using the photo to communicate the challenge. It's still a great shot and even without a powerful tie to the challenge I gave it an 8. |

Perpendicularby LindaEComment: Great choice of colors to contrast. The blue bars have some pixilation and the cropping of the top makes the blue bars feel a bit slanted and takes away from the right angle. I'm not sure if they are slanted or it's just the way they are framed. |

Interlockedby e301Comment: While I wouldn't dispute that you met the challenge, my eye is drawn more to the rounded part of the right fork than the right angles. I just don't feel right angles from this composition.
Technically I would suggest a slightly different DOF with the forks sharper and the background quite a bit softer. I like the lighting quite a bit, though if I were going to nit pick I'd like to get rid of the flare on the rounded part of the right fork (maybe that's why my eye goes there) |

Sky Crossingby roleychiuComment: I really like the blue in the background, but the blue spots on the white X are really distracting. Maybe pushed PS a little too far on this one. |

Three x Threeby sahkoComment: Creative interepretation of the challenge. I might have titled it "Tic Tac Toe" :) |

Cross and Skyby JackoComment: Excellent coloring including a very nice silloutte. I like the DOF also. Having it centered makes it more more dramatic, I like that.
One nit pick -- The right side of the cross between the pedestal and the cross beam has some "pixilation" There are two prominent spots near the cross beam among others.. It might be from the lighting not sure. My eye is drawn to them everytime for some reason. |
