Summer Firesby maranelloboyComment: i'd love it if this shot were quite a bit bigger. Not sure what resolution you shoot in, but I shoot a high resolution, then crop then reduce the longest side to 640 so you get the same crop but the photo is larger. |

Summer WIld Flowers on Mt. Rainierby fluxnComment: Wonderful use of the sky in the background. Adds depth and interest to what might have been an ordinary macro. Feels like summer to me. I like that the flower at the top of the shot goes off the top. |

Hot August day by pitsamanComment: Excellent all around. None of the other insect shots have grabbed me but catching him drinking like a dog on a hot day is great. 10. And a ribbon I\'m sure.
I think this is my favorite all time DPC photo. |
