The 9-year old feeling historyby mgarsteckComment: The shirt and left arm seem a little over exposed but I really like the positioning of the girl and how it's like she's reaching back in time as she touches the names of those that (presumably) fought and died to protect her way of life - connecting her to people who never knew her and she would never know. |

Well, there were 9.by essayComment: Nice use of lighting and it has an anthropomorphic feel to it - kind of reminds me of a mother watching one of her kids leave the nest. |
