The logo seems a dull green, almost as though there's a yellowish cast to the entire photo. White balancing on the cup may have helped.

Different lighting, a different angle, or a different composition (closer, perhaps) would make this more than a baby snap-shot. If you could get an assistant, a light shinging from behind (above or from the baby's right side and behind) would add a third dimension.

Try focusing on one of his eyes rather than his nose. Also I'm guessing this won't resonate with much of your audience as a "celebration" picture. If you had a shot of him (or her) playing, running, leaping, being joyful then a dog might make a good subject.

This picture doesn't have a clear subject which weakens it. A wider shot, with more people dancing, or a closer shot, isolating one couple would be a stronger choice.

Purple Haze

I like the colors, especially the backgrond. The flower doesn't really stand out very well from the background though. Some light coming from the side or behind might have helped. Also the color of the flower petals seems dark...muted...hmmm not sure what the right word is but not very luminous. (Luminous is my word for the day, btw) anyhow...I like the composition too. I probably would have given it a 6 or so. The flower also has some dead spots or dirt or something on it that make it less than ideal.
