I generally like abstracts but the lamp in the background (or what appears to be a lamp) makes this shot feel ordinary, if that makes sense.

I'm wondering if you had cropped it just to the right of the red/white circles if it would be stronger.

Good idea though and I really like the points where the tines touch the liquid.
