egg-scape by instepsComment: oversharpened I think. I like the idea and the lighting... you have something going here but the extra sharpness makes this photo look fake, validated or not |

Balanceby BearSilberComment: I don't see balance here. I really don't see clarity either, a big deal for this type of shot. |

Bentby nathankComment: This is a photo that I think portrays good photographic balance more than most of the other egg-on-something-pointy type shots. I'd have like to seen a little browner/sepia tone to this rather than the greyscale though. Nice shot though |

On Golden Rocksby digistouneComment: Looks like a mirror trick to me. Not badly done, but it needs the lighting right to make somre real drama here. The colors don't contrast enough

Perfectly Poisedby L1Comment: The key to these figure shots is the lighting. This is pretty good. I think you could've added a little drama by lighting it with a spotlight and having a lighted spot on the floor with the shadow of the figure near the center of it. Not that it NEEDS it, but just a thought. |

Physical and Abstract Balance by graphicfunkComment: The quality of this photo is excellent. The concept is excellent. The reflections in the balls are a little distracting, but overall this is a very good photo. |

A Weta in harmonious surroundingsby trainComment: Cool bug. Couple things I see that I don't like about the photo. He's crawling (or appears to be) away from you. Moving side to side isn't all bad, but he seems to be going sideways and a little bit away from the camera. The other thing is that you've given him no room on the left side of the frame to move. IMO, there should be a bit more room on the left side to accomodate his body and to give him somewhere to go. Good colors and good find

Just Tby MonaComment: Its hard to say anything is "wrong" with this photo, but its not terribly inspiring, I don't really see anything obvious promoting balance in this photo. The sky is slightly running downhill from left to right as well. |

Hoverby scrum8Comment: A little grainy and a little oversharpened. It also might be a little too much contrast with the sky. Good capture and a great idea and almost a really good shot - 7 |
