Horizontalby GPComment: You did a pretty good job with the horizon here. Its just about dead on. The focus is a different story though. If this was a little more focused it would be a better image. I'm torn on the exposure. I think its just a tad underexposed, then I think its okay... I guess it could go either way. Great find and capture. |

rewind...by AesculapiusComment: This is terrific creativity. One of my favorite photos of this challenge for sure. The idea is just awesome. ver well taken except for the little hot spot in the bottom right corner. Nothing a little burning won't take care of though after the fact. Great job 9 |

Port Sanilac from the sidewalkby jsvh76Comment: A familiar crappy white michigan sky.... A rule of photography I just heard recently at the Owosso Camera Club was that you should never put a fence between you and your subject as it "blocks" the viewers entry from the photo. Plus in this case it really shows that the horizon is really out of whack. I'm interested to know who took this photo as I work in Saginaw. Good luck |

Dieing Blueby Ricky CleaveComment: Something looks wrong with the blues in this picture. It looks oversaturated or there is some banding or something... it just doesn't look right. It may be too high of an ISO. At any rate, This is not the best angle for the challenge topic. Also the house or whatever across the top is running downhill from R to L. Good luck |

16,000 feet up(and climbing)by lucidComment: Wow, what a view. What a very nice picture to boot. Great texture, especially in the dark rock part at the bottom of the frame. I think its very good. It would be interesting to see this from a slightly lower angle showing a little more of the cloudscape/landscape that we can see on the sides of the mountailn. 8 |

Water Beansby gymnastComment: This is certainly an unusual point of view for something like this. Kudos on that. The colors here provide a good contrast between the water and the boat. This is just slightly out of focus, which it really shouldn't be since most of the subjects here are coplanar. I appreciate this picture a lot, and I bet most others won't because the first thought out of their head will be "not sharp". Good find for this shot 7 |

Dreaming of Hearst Castleby albundy19Comment: I think its a reflection. If it is, its stunning. If it isn't you really have me fooled. Very unusual and surreal. Nice work 8 |

Photogenic girl...by helderComment: The border is very distracting. I don't want to judge on the border, but it really takes away. The picture is pretty good. |
