| 10/23/2002 11:07:00 AM | Spider on Lampshadeby UberFishComment: Very well done. I hope you aren't hearing it about DOF or focus. It's a terrific shot IMO. If you are getting those comments a lot, I'm sure it's from people who haven't done a lot of macros, especially not without much light, because that's tricky enough. Marvelous shot. This would've been a great neg space shot. - Inspzil -9 | Photographer found comment helpful. |
| 10/25/2002 12:32:00 PM | Baby Blueby baccarudaComment: Cute baby. I don't like the blue at all. It makes him look like a baby smurf. Sorry. - Inspzil |
| 10/22/2002 11:47:00 AM | Revby sg10Comment: Great concept for the shot, but the execution didn't happen as well as I think it could've. The left side is underexposed and the right side is pretty good, maybe a little bright. Good luck! - Inspzil |
| 10/24/2002 10:00:00 AM | Light the Light Thru the Treeby rajronComment: I have mixed emotions about this one. The subject is super, that is one tree that is photogenic, if they possess such qualities. I think the framing of the tree is mostly good, I wish the other side didn't get cut off, but I can see why it is due to trunk position and filling the frame properly. I don't like where the light is placed because I think more emphasis should be placed on the cool curvy (notice the hi-tech photomographical jargon) limbs. This is I think the challenge part of this challenge. As it is, it's pretty good. It has the feeling of an oil painting, which I really like. And I'm just sort of in the mood to talk today, so I'm sure if you aren't getting many comments, you'll be enjoying this one. I was going to add the "what I would have done..." part and if it really interests you to know, PM me and I'll tell you. Good Luck on this challenge. I'm finally done. - Inspzil |
| 10/22/2002 08:34:00 AM | My Punkin'by jpooleComment: This may be the best portrait pic I've seen on here. If not the best, my favorite. You will be in my top 10 or better (after I vote on a few more, like 220 more). This is wonderful lighting, composition, I could go either way on B&W. I bet it would be killer in color too. Great Job!! - Inspzil |

| 10/23/2002 11:02:00 AM | Daily Cocktailby ManicComment: Great use of lighting, great framing, great subject.... THIS is the dramatic that was asked for by the topic. It's so simple, but says so much. This is for me, the most powerful image I've seen on DPC. The title is great too and if you've kept up with all the hullaballoo in the forums dealing with titles, this one does exactly what it's supposed to do, help clarify some things without giving a long description of what's happening in the shot. Thanks so much for sharing it. 12/10 - (if I could) - Inspzil | Photographer found comment helpful. |
| 10/22/2002 09:21:00 AM | Its in the bagby boyte1Comment: Nice idea. Well executed. I don't know if I like the stuff around the bottom or not. I don't believe it takes away from the fine quality of this pic though. wtg! - Inspzil |
| 10/24/2002 11:19:00 AM | Oppression.by DrJOnesComment: Did she get locked accidently in the ferret's cage? I think I see the intent here, but I don't think it was accomplished. The lighting is pretty good, the circumstances are just too hokey. And does she NEED to be undressed? Its definitely NOT that I mind at all. Just maybe not here. Good effort - Good luck - Good day - Inspzil |
| 10/23/2002 05:23:00 AM | Michael Reneby SatelliteSpeckComment: You didn't have a little sign with some numbers on it he could hold up? It's a little mugshottish. Good luck - Inspzil |
