This is extremely well taken. I don't see the dramatic lighting here though. The colors are very nice but the light is just too much. With this sort of subject being basically 2dimensional, good shadow effects would be difficult. Good luck - Inspzil

Why do pears make such good subjects? Maybe because they don't move much. This one is pretty good, I think it lacks the drama aspect of this challenge. In all other aspects though, it's a good photo. - Inspzil

This is a pretty good start to this actually, but I think if you would've manipulated the light a little more, you really could've made this awesome. I think it's too lit for my taste. More shadows on the right side would've been good. I would've tried to make the light on the hat softer as well, with a lot more shadow on the right side of that too. And maybe have the subject give just a little hint of smile, just curling the left side lip a bit. It would add to the 'drama'. This is a cute shot, but I see a ton of potential here. I tried a shot very similar to this for a challenge a few weeks ago. Actually I tried many shots with my guitars. They didn't really turn out that good. This looks pretty similar, but my light was brighter. - Inspzil
