Very nice! I played trumpet in school, and my valves are so beat up that I'd never take a picture of 'em :) My only nitpick on this one is that I would have liked to have sen the first valve on the left in better focus. Perhaps getting the first two in focus while the third faded a bit would have made this a 10 for me.

Trumpet?

Beautiful! I love the composition and gold and pearl tones together. DOF is incredible...I hadn't expected to see this shallow dof with such a subject...but I love it! 10 Lisa

I really like the composition. The colors and lighting are very nice. Biggest gripe is the DOF. I want the left key to be in focus. Is that so wrong? ;oP Nice idea! ~indi

kind of like my pictures, a little out of focus, would have been better if the third button was in focus.

Nice shot... The limited DOF works well. The perspective that this was shot at is what really grabs my attention though. The "buttons" are in great locations, and it's not your "average" instrument shot. Great idea and even better execution. - JB

I'm not sure where the lighting comes in to play on this shot. That's sort of a major missing element in my book. - Inspzil
