door knobby robadsyComment: I think this is great minimalism by both the artistic and dpc definitions. |

Lava rock cutting the skyby lastefComment: Lara: Very nice. What I really like is the contrast between the fresh jaggedness of the lava rock and both the softer mountain in the background and the plant-covered rocks in the foreground. The spatial arrangement of the three is very dynamic. --Dan |

On The Lineby moswynComment: This works for me! It is one of the more original interpretations of the assignment. I find the trees in the background to be a bit "busy" - maybe a higher viewpoint would have given you the images against the background of the grass.

Brazos Crossingby TSaylorsComment: I really like this shot. When I first rated it, I did not appreciate that he tracks were scissors. Now I'm going back through and I've increased my vote on this one.

Artist at workby OptomistComment: This is a very good idea; it combines the rock with both paper and scissors in a meaningful scene. But the image itself is not as strong as it could be. I'd like to see more of the kid's face and more of what he is doing. I also think the wave is distracting. Maybe a vertical shot from a lower viewpoint to the left would be better.

Achieving balanceby nico_blueComment: Conceptually, this is my favorite entry for this challenge! I'd prefer a cleaner background but that is really a nit.

Springtime Morelsby GBrummettComment: Lovely! I had my first morels of the season yesterday, but they didn't look nearly as fresh as yours.
Oh, BTW, both the morels and the photograph are lovely. |

The Buffers and Couplingsby biggood53Comment: I like this! I'm hoping that your comments will explain what this is. If not, please let me know after the voting closes.
