This is a nice scene but it does not seem particularly peaceful to me. The boats have been battered by the waves and they are tied up just barely out of the water.

This is a very nice idea. The model and her scarf really evoke my memories of the era of peaceniks. I wish your background and lighting were better; the on-camera flash has left harsh shadows on her neck.

Its a nice flower picture. Normally I'd suggest that you crop it differently so that the flower is not in the dead center, but with the balance them, it is fine. I would prefer it without the background flower on the lower right; it draws my attention away from the central flower.

I understand what you are trying to say here but my own experience gets in the way. When I try to balance, I feel under pressure not to do anything that would upset the balance. I suppose that if you practice yoga long enough, you can get a sense of peace from a balance posture.

You have entered a lot more challenges than I have; I don't need to tell you that this is not the kind of image that does well on DPC. Yet, as the positive comments you got on "Dream" indicate, there are a number of us here who appreciate this kind of work.

My reaction to this is very much like my reaction to "Dream": I really like the image but I don't get any deeper meaning that would take it to a higher level. What I see is a bee on the left and flowers on the right. At first glance, the bee is not connected with the flowers, but the arc of darkness at the top brings the bee back around to the flowers. The effect is very powerful.

But is this all there is to this photo?

In looking a just this image, I don't see anything that would bring me back for a repeated look. But now I have seen three of your images that I think of as a series: the sirens, dream, and fade. The whole effect of these is much greater than the sum of the parts. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I like the feel of this shot. As posthumous said, it explodes. My eye was drawn to what I took to be the center of the explosion, the middle of the largest trunk. There is not much there, so I get the feeling that something is happening behind the tree where I cannot see it. What it could be is a mystery because the rest of the image shows a quiet forest scene.

What I don't get from this image is a sense that I understand some meaning in it. Why is there an explosion in the woods? Did you have a deeper meaning that you intended? It isn't necessary for the viewers to get the same meaning you had, but images that are rich with possible meanings are often the most successful.
