Heavy loadby cabaComment: Great idea. You did an excellent job positioning and exposing for the warm and cool light sources. The lighting and your camera angle really reinforce the feeling of bulk, dimension and roundness in both the manequin and banana. (8) |

Spring has arrived !!by thomkatComment: This is a great vantage on a beautiful image. Excellent focus. The progression from the dark undergrowth to the brilliant flowers against the bright blue sky definitely conveys the feeling in your title. (8) |

Toilet Artby rhipsterComment: There are a lot of interesting elements in this picture. I like the grid geometry, and progressive distortion of the tiles further back in the reflective distance. The purple door nicely balances your own reflection. I think having yourself just inside the frame on the left is a critical part of the composition. I'm guessing you left yourself in soft focus to keep attention on the strong lines in the rest of the image, but that softness feels out of place to me. Nice shot overall. (7) |

Path Way to the Cityby dinnComment: Great light, lines and balance in the composition. I really enjoy the focus of the bridge pushing toward the skyline and then up into the moody sky. The image seems a bit tilted to the right though. (7) |

Full Sailby timj351Comment: This is a great picture. The lines, angles, values and perspective are excellent. The fact that you caught this shot just as the boom and horizon became perpendicular and then took advantage of that when framing is too cool. (8) |

Mountain Light by dsidwellComment: Composition and light are beautiful. The flare around the sun came out particularly nice. The only thing I'm hung up on is that dodge and burn in the mountains looks a little too heavy-handed to me. (If that's not what's happening on the peaks, sorry for the interpretation.) (7) |

Road to...by sahkoComment: That sky is a beauty. Great range and drama. Catching the path as it leads into the darkest cloudbase adds a perfect hook. (8) |

Stackby corachaosComment: I like your composition. You put yourself in a good position to get a really nice wedge and bottleneck on the blue sky between the stack and the building. (7) |

Just a splash of orangeby Hax0rComment: This is a cool idea. I like the blur and motion in the drips above and below. The liquid rivulettes under the spoon are excellent. But like a lot of the other comments, I wish that the actual focus wasn't on the edge of the spoon, but more on the frothing Kool-Aidâ„¢ in the spoon itself. I like the vertical angle, personally, because it shows the interesting stuff happening on the bottom of the spoon. But maybe a different horizontal angle, where the handle of the spoon is coming toward or away from the camera would add some more interest to the composition? (6) |
